Versions of BURKORD™ 3-D Coordinate Geometry (COGO) Software

After several years of development, BURKORD™ 3-D Coordinate Geometry software was released as Version 8 in December 1996. Revisions since then include:

Incidental changes were tracked using letters following the version number. Most changes were internal only and did not affect use of the program. Substantial changes are:

1. Version 8A.01 March 1997 Change/add copyright notice and switch

North/East on POB section printout.

2. Version 8G May 1999 Update to reflect move to New Mexico and

to include 500 points in gratis release.

3. Version 9 June 2003 Change to scientific format in printout to

accommodate large distances.

4. Version 9A October 2003 Fix a serious flaw found in “traverse” sub-

routine which caused program to abort. If

the program never aborted abnormally, you

probably never encountered the flaw.

5. Version 9A.05 April 2004 Fix “file open/close” oversight in “define”

subroutine.
